We love Neat! We have gone there many times for the short rib, salmon, buffalo wings, Caesar salad, and loaded mashed potatoes, not to mention their desserts are on point, and my husband loves their old fashioneds. The chocolate lava cake and the creme brulee are simply incredible.
Had such a great experience here. The service was amazing, patient and attentive but didn't feel rushed at all. Food and cocktails were all terrific. We ate a lot and every item was great. They were super respectful of Covid, spaced out tables, masks - felt super safe.
They are absolutely lovely when you go to pick up your takeout order and the food was amazing. They made accommodations for me when I asked to change my order a bit and didn't charge a cent extra. Poutine was excellent, will definitely make this my new lunch spot.
Neat is an amazing neighborhood joint, with a fantastic beer and whiskey list, and a menu creative enough to hold its own with places in the city. I've been here 10 or 15 times and haven't had a bad thing, but the Peanut Butter Burger is transcendent - Kuma's level genius.
I have to say we really lucked out on this. We are currently only looking for restaurants that guarantee outdoor seating and Neat Kitchen did that. Great start. We had 6 people for a birthday celebration and they had us seated almost exactly at our res time. Very impressive considering lack of tables!
